The food was good although we felt that the Chilli Massala was very mild and, perhaps, lacking some spices. Not as nice a dish as we have had on previous occasions.

Delivery always seems to take longer now since the restaurant stopped using their own drivers but can't fault the food, excellent as always.

Ordered at 8.10 and told 50 minutes. Still waiting 2 hours later, seriously not impressed. Also ordered and payed for 2 cans of irn bru that didn’t appear. Never had this problem before but I am disappointed,

Delivery time! Unaware problem on Bridge over the Don which led to delay in delivery time. Not takeaways fault!

food never arrived on time and i was told 10minutes then i checked online and it said delivered so i told him this was unacceptable and fraudulent to state it had been delivered when it had not, i then get told he will phone driver and then get told after being on the phone 10 minutes it going to be another 10 minutes until i get my food, 30 mins after they said they were going to deliver they think its ok to deliver and the probability is it wouldnt have been 10 minutes as the 10minutes they said originally had already turned into 20minutes, your young gentleman answering the phone should brush up on his customer services, i have used this takeaway for years and am now at the point i dont think i will ever use again

The bazaggar wasn’t much taste at all, also lack of variety of vegetables in the curry.

Excellent meal, and preparation and delivery time was as promised without rushing to get the food out too quickly. I love how succulent the food is and how it is presented in the food containers. I would highly recommend the Shalimar Tandoori for a meal to satisfy your taste buds.

First class service from a friendly staff who offered to carry my bags to the car. Have been using Shalimar for a while now and the food has always been brilliant.

I have ordered before and every time has been exceptional. My wife’s Korma was great last night but unfortunately the Dopiaza I had was pretty tasteless and lamb was not as tender as previous and very fatty. Maybe just a one off but thought I would let u know. Next time I will order the shalimar special curry but was not visible on the app?
